Sunflowers are our speciality. People travel from far and wide to see our sunflower crops – and birds grow healthy and strong thanks to these seeds.

Sunflower seeds are the king of seeds for hook-beaked birds like canaries and other small birds. Packed with fats and protein, they are an excellent way to keep birds in good weight throughout the year. Seeds also contain essential vitamins and minerals like Vitamin B and calcium.

  • NZ grown sunflower seeds provide perfect fats and proteins
  • A nutritious source of food for hook-beaked birds
  • Our speciality crop for over four decades
  • Good year-round source of nutrients

Typical analysis: Protein 15.8%, fat 31.4%, fibre 20.6%.

Ingredients: 100% NZ sunflower - nothing more, nothing less.

Feeding Guide: Sunflower seeds should be fed in moderation alongside a selection of other seeds, nuts and grains. Always have seed available to your bird as well as fresh, clean water. In addition to seed, fresh fruit and vegetables should be fed and make up 30-40% of your bird’s diet.
