
Laughing dogs?
Surely you must be joking…
Recently we asked our followers on Facebook if dogs can smile. The photos we received from various owners proved in our eyes that they definitely could. Now we’ve found out that they can laugh too.
And not only do they laugh – they like to share a joke too. In 2001 researchers recorded the sounds of dogs laughing and then played these recordings to shelter dogs that were stressed. As a result many of the dogs began to relax, bouncing around and even responding with laughs of their own.
