About the NZGBS

Since 2007, the annual New Zealand Garden Bird Survey has monitored bird populations with the help of ordinary Kiwis like you. Your count helps create one of the only long-term, national biodiversity datasets in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Topflite has supported the NZGBS for over a decade because, quite simply, we’re ‘birds of a feather’. Like the good people behind this unique survey we value guardianship of the environment – and know we must flock together to protect it.

Our NZ-made bird food is crafted to attract and nourish our unique garden birds. By supplementing the natural diet of birds you can help to support their survival through winter and improve the chances of a successful breeding season.
